The diameter specification range of the filter bag for pulse bag dust collectors is generally between 120 and 165, while the commonly used ones for pipe jet pulse dust collectors are 130 and 160.

The diameter specification range of the filter bag for pulse bag dust collectors is generally between 120 and 165, while the commonly used ones for pipe jet pulse dust collectors are 130 and 160. The pulse dust collector for handling high air volume currently uses a bag diameter of φ 160. The length of the filter bag is generally taken as 2-8m, and the length should not exceed 10m. The value of the bag length is related to the cleaning method of the dust collector. The bag length of the pipe spray pulse dust collector is often taken as 6m or more. Generally, the filter bag is long and has a large diameter to prevent excessive wind speed at the bag opening. For box jet pulse dust collectors, the bag length is generally not longer than 4m, while for counter blowing dust collectors, two commonly used bag lengths are φ 180 and φ 300, with bag lengths of 6m and 10mm.

For a dust removal system, when the purification target of the bag filter is clear, a reasonable filtration speed is selected based on the properties of the body and dust, and the required filtration area is calculated from the air volume of the processing conditions; Determine the specifications of the filter bags based on the selected cleaning method, valve size, and site layout, and then calculate the number of filter bags. In the design process, it is also necessary to calculate the dust removal efficiency, allowable air leakage, and if it is a pulse jet bag filter, the amount of compressed air used also needs to be calculated.

The measures for boiler bag dust collectors are compared. As the bag dust collector is divided into separate compartments, if there is a malfunction (during combustion or explosion), it will only affect one compartment and will not affect other compartments. Additionally, each compartment is equipped with a door. If the MDC89-7 anti blowing bag filter malfunctions, the entire filter bag will be affected.

The control system of the boiler bag filter adopts a PLC programming controller. Compared with the TMK controller of the MDC89-7 anti blowing bag filter used before, it has much more functions. The boiler bag filter has functions such as over temperature alarm, fault alarm, and automatic release of cold air and automatic locking of exhaust fan when the post worker is not on site after the bag filter overheats.

The boiler bag filter adopts pulse cleaning method, with a filtration area of 685 square meters, a gas consumption of 0.9 cubic meters per minute, and a pressure of ≥ 0.5 megapascals. The size of gas consumption can be adjusted according to the operating resistance to change the interval between cleaning periods. The boiler bag filter uses a filter bag with membrane filter material. The advantages of membrane filter material are: easy dust removal on the surface, good dust stripping performance, and stable resistance. The boiler bag filter is divided into 10 independent chambers, each chamber containing 56 filter bags, each weighing 5 kilograms. Only one person is needed to replace the bags.

Boiler dust collectors are suitable for many occasions, mainly for use in areas with high concentrations of industrial dust. The ability to attach dust becomes an important functional requirement for boiler dust collectors. In the metallurgical system, there is severe dust at some belt transfer stations that transport dry materials (sintered ore, ball closed ore, etc.), or in some crushing rooms for dry materials. To ensure that the standalone dust collector always operates up to standard, only by continuously cleaning the dust attached to the filter equipment can the standalone dust collector operate normally.
