When it comes to dust collector equipment, I believe friends should not be unfamiliar with it. Do you know how to choose dust collector equipment? I have summarized the following points and would like to share them with everyone:

1. Processing air volume

The processing air volume refers to the volume of gas that the dust removal equipment can purify in a unit of time. The unit is cubic meters per hour (m3/h) or standard cubic meters per hour (Nm3/h). It is one of the most important factors in the design of dust collector equipment.

2. Usage temperature

For dust collector equipment, its operating temperature depends on two factors: the first is the maximum temperature that the filter material can withstand, and the second is that the gas temperature must be above the dew point temperature. At present, due to the extensive use of fiberglass filter media, its maximum operating temperature can reach 280 ℃. Cooling measures must be taken for gases above this temperature, and heating measures must be taken for gases below the dew point temperature. For dust collector equipment, the relationship between operating temperature and dust removal efficiency is not obvious, which is different from electrostatic precipitators. For electrostatic precipitators, temperature changes can affect the specific resistance of dust and other factors that affect dust removal efficiency.

3. Pressure loss

The pressure loss of dust collector equipment refers to the pressure drop or resistance of gas from the inlet to the outlet of the dust collector.

4. Operating pressure

The operating pressure of the dust collector equipment is determined by the static pressure values and installation positions of the devices and fans before and after the dust collector, and is also the design pressure resistance value of the dust collector equipment.

5. Filtering speed

The filtration speed is an important factor in the design and selection of dust collector equipment. Its definition is the speed at which the filtered gas passes through the filter material, or the air volume and area of the filter material passing through it.
